Why do I use a Henry vacuum cleaner?

I, like many other cleaners use a Henry vacuum cleaner. There’s a reason why they have been so popular over the years, and I’ll give you my perspective. For the purpose of this post, I am categorizing all types of Numatic bagged cylinder vacuum cleaners into one, this includes Henry.

Pricing

Firstly, with prices of these vacuum cleaners starting at around £80, they are very reasonably priced. With this in mind, if you compare it to a mid-range Dyson or Vax vacuum priced at approximately twice the price, there’s a huge difference. But does a more expensive vacuum cleaner necessarily mean a better clean? I’m going to tell you why I think not.

I have been using Henry vacuum cleaners in various different environments from ships to schools. I personally believe that they are one of the best vacuum cleaners on the market.

Reliability

If you have ever used a Henry, straightaway you’ll understand what I mean when I say they are robust. Henry vacuum cleaners are built to last and what’s more is they are fully serviceable. I have witnessed multiple occasions of Henry neglect. i.e. being dropped down a stairs, falling out of the back of a van, dragged through a building site upside down. But even through all of these scenarios, each of the Henrys just kept on going. While it may be true that Henry vacuum cleaners don’t have the same level of suction as other top competitors, they certainly make up for it in reliability.

Emptying

When it comes to emptying, many bag-less vacuums claim to be mess free. I don’t know about you but I had to empty those drums outside every time. The dust would just get everywhere as soon as the clip opens, regardless of how far it’s placed into a rubbish bag. Compared to the bag-less vacuums, to empty the Henry is a simple completely mess free operation.

Ease of Use

Some may disagree, but I find Henry vacuums to be one of the easiest to use. The long flexible hose means you don’t need to constantly push and pull the entire vacuum cleaner. When it comes to stairs, you can either leave it at the bottom and work up or vice versa.

Henry Vacuum – Conclusion

In conclusion, the ease of use of the Henry vacuum cleaner and it’s incredible value for money make it my number one recommendation. Even if you’re not vacuuming everyday like myself, it still makes light work of the household vacuuming without breaking the bank.
